Vuitton Vibes

I am very lucky when it comes to my work attire, I get to wear almost anything I want from jeans to trainers, I'm in them all week so I never really have a "off duty" look. I usually dress for my mood and comfort, one day I can be in leather pants, another is a cheeky legging day or a dress, jogger days are kept for my hangover days!

This is usually one of my more relax looks wearing my Parka.
I have had this Burberry Parker for 4 years now. I was so lucky with this purchase as I found it in Bicester Village for a shocking £150 from £900!!!! The quality of this coat has maintained from the day I bought it. It is my go to coat for those wet and grim, as is this amazing cable knit Monki jumper. Monki had some lovey knitwear pieces this winter season, I was lucky to enough to stock up on them during the sale (thanks late winter!)

I had these Louis Vuitton Palm Canyon boots for Christmas. These were on my wishlist from the moment the cruise collection was shown in Palm Springs (Bob Hopes incredible house to be exact.) My love affair with the new LV is well documented among my friends. What can I say, I hero worship Nicolas Ghesquiere.
In the space of two months I have added two Givenchy bags to my collection. This wasn't intentional. I found my floral Pandora in the Harrods sale for £250. Bargain I know! But I knew I wanted to add a Antigona to my collection last year after seeing my best friend Marie with a dark red mini. I have a weakness for grey bags, but I am fussy over leathers and this is just the perfect tone and a grained leather. It is deceptively big, it fits more or less my everyday needs including my kindle.

Knightsbridge In Bloom

It's been a while since my last post, but finally I'm having some well deserved, non ill, time off from work after a brilliant working week away in New York. I only wish we had more time to explore, but I definitely think we made the most of our limited time. That will definitely be my next post sharing my 5 day adventure.

Back to the post in hand. If you follow me on instagram you'll know I am always in my stripy tees and jeans, I alternate how I style my simple look with my accessories and coats. Isn't that the real trick to a versatile wardrobe? Wonderful accessories? Of course! But I must admit like denim, I love to look out for different stripy tees and jumpers. This one is a Topshop one, they are my go to for basics along with ASOS.

The jeans I am obsessed with the last month have to be The Joni Jeans from Topshop. For the £36 they are worth every penny. For me, I have had to invest in Current Elliot and J Brand Jeans because they don't alter the leg width when it comes to the hip size which seems to be a general must for high street jeans, because when you're a size 16 clearly you have fatter legs *ADD EXTREME SARCASM*. The Joni's really do fit my need for everyday skinny jeans. They cling to the leg, they have a great comfortable stretch and are high-waisted. I definitely recommend them especially if you are someone who likes a super skinny fit. I have bought them in 2 shades of blue, black and grey. Obsessed much?

Of course no blog post of mine isn't complete without that Chanel touch. I recently bought this amazing Deauville tote (medium size raspberry red) which was launched part of Spring Summer Act 1 collection. The tote has been on my list since it launched 4 years ago, but in-between that I just never found the colour I wanted or spent my wages on something else at the time. I literally had bought my tri-colour jersey bag the week before (coming on the blog soon) so I had to beg my mum for this little buy. I'm glad she caved because it is so light and perfect for the spring/summer ahead. The colour is just jaw dropping in reality.

I am also happy that the past 2 seasons at Chanel has seen some amazing jewellery pieces. The chain round bracelet was from cruise collection and the CHANEL cuff is current and went down the runway stacked up during the Riot collection. I had bought 2 but decided I have so many unique Chanel bracelets I didn't need 2 to imitate the runway look.

I hope everyone is having a lovely start to the Easter Weekend!

Thanks for reading.

Shades of Grey

I am back! I have missed blogging the last few weeks, but work has consumed me massively. But thanks to the wonderful other half we have made some time to take photos of my favourite outfits.

As ever I love this outfit, it is easy, chic and very much embodying my love for fresh simplicity. Grey is definitely one of my favourite colours, it is easy to match and looks extra chic. It also goes really well with pink, specifically my new (well bought in the sale back in January at 75% off!) Carven coat. I was really lucky with this find, I previously had a pink coat from Topshop which I have worn to death. This was a no brainer, the fit is perfection and it is super warm.

Chanel sneakers have been my weakness since I witnessed the supermarket collection, I love to save my runway pairs for special occasions because they are so delicate, yet so so comfortable. The tweed is just perfection along with the holographic leather. I was lucky to get 2 pairs these and a pink pair. I love that Zara and New Look have produced their own versions because the sneaker game is still very high, they have become a bigger outgoing for Chanel than their classic ballerinas and it is super hard to find just a classic pair of running sneakers.

The Camera bag is the new Chanel must have bag. This style was launched for the Cruise 2015 collection and was part of the runway and the whole concept of the collection. Obviously The Camera bag has been a huge model for Chanel, however this is a much modern twist, double sides, quilted and chevron imprinted. The model has now spilled into Spring Summer 15 in some beautiful yellow, pink and blue tones. I have the medium size, and there is a larger size up for all you hoarders :)

Thanks for reading guys

Flying into 2015

Happy New Year everyone!!!!! I know it's been ages since I have blogged but as a part of my new years resolution I am hopefully going to blog a lot more about my own style and brands I am loving along with trends. I know it is something I say every year but I have realised that I take so much pleasure in sharing my outfits on Instagram so why can I not apply the same enthusiasm to my blog?!

I am obsessed with my new Isabel Marant Aviator jacket. It is so warm and comfortable, to top it off it has been on my list of things to buy since it launched at the start of AW14 so to find it in the sale at 60% was a true blessing! It was a no brainer to pair it with my Marant striped top and Sandro jeans because let's face it the French have always had the leather jacket looks down to perfection/

I love my ever growing Chanel collection especially these two pieces. It is always hard to call something my favourite in my Chanel collection when everything is. I am a fussy buyer (it may not seem it but I am) I have a mind of my own and like to be quirky or understated, so when I see people trying too hard I don't know wether as a stylist to feel offended or to turn away and put it down to a lack of imagination. I definitely feel 2014 was the birth of a whole new side of Chanel but this year with the impending Riot collection and Salzburg it's not gonna stop the ever growing fascination with Chanel. My trainers are from Dubai cruise collection, after being super fussy about the sneakers, in the space of 2 months I managed to rake up an impressive 5 pairs! These are my "light" pair (denim and white). The boy bag is my dream boy. I bought this is the summer in Paris, I wanted a velvet since 2013 so when I saw this in a rare size I knew it was worth the wait. It practically goes with everything.

I hope everyone has been enjoying their first few days of the year!

Chanel On The Go.

Denim Shirt- Monki
Joggers- H&M
Leather Jacket- Zara
Sneakers- Chanel
Necklace- Chanel
Bracelet- Balenciaga

I cannot believe it has taken me this long to post about my absolute loves…The Chanel sneakers from AW14 collection. So I know i am a lucky pup. My job and hard work always pays off when it comes to getting the pieces I love. I was extra lucky when I was told I could buy as many pairs and I wanted 3 days before the launch of the collection! I of course had the pink on my list since the show and the bright multicolour, but I didn't realise I would fall in love with the grey as much as I did.

But alas I stuck with my original 2 choices and a pair of the classic running sneakers which finally came in a colour combo that suited my style and taste. I instantly had to wear them so I wore my first and favourite out -These to die for Pink Tweed. Now these are the ones almost everyone wanted due to the whole runway look (Oh and Alexa Chung having them) so I was so smug walking around the days before launch but didn't realise walking to my meeting in Selfridges would lead to a woman screaming at me to tell her who sold them to me. Wow!

That aside, this outfit was so planned pre obtaining my dream sneakers. When you ask? Well when I bought these joggers in H&M Paris. If you know me well you will know I am not big on sports luxe, I love sneakers but not the biggest jogger fan. I just immediately fell in love with these and instantly knew what to pair it with, classic denim shirt and leather jacket. I especially love that my favourite Monki denim shirt worked so so well with the outfit. Now it's time to work out what other outfits will go with my pants.
