Vuitton Vibes

I am very lucky when it comes to my work attire, I get to wear almost anything I want from jeans to trainers, I'm in them all week so I never really have a "off duty" look. I usually dress for my mood and comfort, one day I can be in leather pants, another is a cheeky legging day or a dress, jogger days are kept for my hangover days!

This is usually one of my more relax looks wearing my Parka.
I have had this Burberry Parker for 4 years now. I was so lucky with this purchase as I found it in Bicester Village for a shocking £150 from £900!!!! The quality of this coat has maintained from the day I bought it. It is my go to coat for those wet and grim, as is this amazing cable knit Monki jumper. Monki had some lovey knitwear pieces this winter season, I was lucky to enough to stock up on them during the sale (thanks late winter!)

I had these Louis Vuitton Palm Canyon boots for Christmas. These were on my wishlist from the moment the cruise collection was shown in Palm Springs (Bob Hopes incredible house to be exact.) My love affair with the new LV is well documented among my friends. What can I say, I hero worship Nicolas Ghesquiere.
In the space of two months I have added two Givenchy bags to my collection. This wasn't intentional. I found my floral Pandora in the Harrods sale for £250. Bargain I know! But I knew I wanted to add a Antigona to my collection last year after seeing my best friend Marie with a dark red mini. I have a weakness for grey bags, but I am fussy over leathers and this is just the perfect tone and a grained leather. It is deceptively big, it fits more or less my everyday needs including my kindle.

Chanel On The Go.

Denim Shirt- Monki
Joggers- H&M
Leather Jacket- Zara
Sneakers- Chanel
Necklace- Chanel
Bracelet- Balenciaga
Rings- Cartier 'Love'

I cannot believe it has taken me this long to post about my absolute loves…The Chanel sneakers from AW14 collection. So I know i am a lucky pup. My job and hard work always pays off when it comes to getting the pieces I love. I was extra lucky when I was told I could buy as many pairs and I wanted 3 days before the launch of the collection! I of course had the pink on my list since the show and the bright multicolour, but I didn't realise I would fall in love with the grey as much as I did.

But alas I stuck with my original 2 choices and a pair of the classic running sneakers which finally came in a colour combo that suited my style and taste. I instantly had to wear them so I wore my first and favourite out -These to die for Pink Tweed. Now these are the ones almost everyone wanted due to the whole runway look (Oh and Alexa Chung having them) so I was so smug walking around the days before launch but didn't realise walking to my meeting in Selfridges would lead to a woman screaming at me to tell her who sold them to me. Wow!

That aside, this outfit was so planned pre obtaining my dream sneakers. When you ask? Well when I bought these joggers in H&M Paris. If you know me well you will know I am not big on sports luxe, I love sneakers but not the biggest jogger fan. I just immediately fell in love with these and instantly knew what to pair it with, classic denim shirt and leather jacket. I especially love that my favourite Monki denim shirt worked so so well with the outfit. Now it's time to work out what other outfits will go with my pants.

'Dem Parisian Vibes

I cannot express how much I love these 2 books at the moment. As told by wonderful Parisian friends, I do not need a book to tell me how to be a Parisian wherever I am because I am already one. The best compliment ever, especially from  REAL Parisians! But hey! I wanted to support my style crush, favourite person in my Chanel family, Caroline de Maigret and her amazing group of girlfriends who are lending all their tips to every woman out there that is interested in embracing that Jane Birkin attitude.

The book isn't just a how to be, it is full of funny quips, tips, friendship, the perfect dinner table conversation (with a matching menu to accompany it), how to have a successful affair oh and how to turn men on with a simple Burberry trench. That's right, no longer will I envy the Charlotte Gainsbourg wannabes in my clique, I WILL BE THAT WOMAN!

I genuinely couldn't recommend a more chic and funny read for my little fashionistas.

I also wanted to share with you the amazing new Chanel Art book which is due for world launch in mid October. If you can remember back in October 2013, the Spring Summer 2014 show was all about the artistic Chanel girl. The set was full of amazing art pieces which have been documented in this book. It is a must have for any coffee table book collectors/ Chanel fans. I'm very lucky to have my copy before launch and I am proud owner of a first edition too. Each piece for me is so special and I love looking back and remembering my memories from the days leading up to the show and the day.

I love this look, I really think my style adapts all the time. My current obsession since early this year has been duster coats. I wanted a nice thick one for autumn, something I could wrap up. This trench duster is my dream jacket. It's a gorgeous length and cut beautifully. Thank you once again Monki.

My Mansur tote has been the best addition to my bag collection this year. Thanks mum and dad for this! I knew I wanted the tote after buying my bucket bag in March. I wasn't however sure if black was needed in my collection, but as any person looking for a Mansur Gavriel knows, it is hard to find the bag in the first place so I cannot even imagine the stress my parents went through to get this but all I know is Net-A-Porter were a fantastic help. As for my doubts, completely out the window. I love this bag so much it's hard not to use it when it is perfection.

The Chanel Dallas sneakers are just the cutest. These capture the collection perfectly, on top of that it really adds a pop to any basic outfit. Ive noticed with Chanel sneakers the best style for myself is low tops to show off my skinny ankles. These in the high top were cute but god I am so glad they weren't in my size because these have made me so happy. They stand out for themselves in my ever growing sneakers collection.

Thanks for reading guys.

Double Denim Days

 Happy Friday!!!!

The sun is out today and I am sitting at my desk excited for the working week to end. I am extra excited to leave work today because tonight me and the boyfriend are off to see The Arcade Fire at Earls Court. A much needed relief from a hard week. The Arcade Fire are one of my favourite bands. This will be my 4th time seeing them and I know they won't disappoint (Kinda hoping they will get David Bowie out!) especially as my Parisian friends saw them at Le Zenith in Paris and haven't stopped talking about the show.

I absolutely love this outfit post. We did this shoot the weekend of my best friends wedding. You wouldn't think I had a hangover right?

I cannot get enough of the Dior SoReal sunglasses. Honestly. Favourite pair in my collection

I absolutely love this shirt from Monki. I bought it in the grey denim (wearing) and a dark blue denim also. It has to be two of my most worn shirts in my wardrobe at the moment. I love the simplicity that comes with throwing on an oversized denim shirt. Double denim is always tricky yet seriously chic. Simple is perfection and definitely shows you can make a great outfit with essentials.

My beloved Chanel Espadrilles how I've worn you to death, weather can never stand in our way. 1 of 10 currently in my possession, these were the pair my boyfriend Alan bought me for Xmas last year. I love how easy espadrilles are to wear and the comfort factor is a plus. These pair have travelled a fair bit, these came to Kuala Lumpur with me this year which can only mean they are top of my favourite list for versatility.

The best thing about living in East London is we are surrounded by some beautiful places. We live a 10 minute walk from The Olympic Park. Perfect for walks, runs and photo shoots. Of course this was just one of the areas surrounding the park. I highly recommend visiting the grounds. It is a nice break from a busy busy London yet still only in Zone 3.

If you follow my Instagram Feed you'll know that I bought my Mansur Gavriel bucket bag (in butter) from Net-A-Porter at the end of March. I have to thank the NAP team for being amazing and putting me on the top of the list. The time it took for me to make an enquiry and the bag being available was 3 days. I am so in love with this bag i genuinely didn't think I would love it this hard. The colour is perfect for summer tones and is definitely wearable in the winter too for a pop of fresh attitude. It is light and tres durable. I got you right? The only problem is, it is prone to scratches a quality that is factored into the making of the bag and the general aesthetic of the nature of the leather and look. There are ways to avoid the bag from getting scratches through protecting it with wax and nano spray. Over all I cannot wait to hunt down the tote version, hopefully in the oxblood or the black.

I also present my new baby Fur Monster Alfonso. Thanks to Fendi, I was given a choice of some beautiful little Fur Monsters from the new flagship store on Bond Street. We bonded immediately, his hair is wild and out of control like mine, his eyebrows are supper bushy…mine are getting there. I didn't think I needed one of these lil babies in my life but I'm glad I was given one because now it's hard not to put on my bag!

I bought this hair braid from Hershesons a week before the wedding as it was perfect for my wedding outfit to make my look extra girly, cute and romantic. I have now taken to wearing it a lot more, especially as it makes my hair look thicker…tricks of the trade ;p

Dusters In the Summer

When I first saw this duster jacket in Monki, my mind thought "could I really carry it off? It's a maxi blazer in London, won't some random idiot pull on it?' Well sod all those thoughts, I went in on one of their discount days and picked this little beauties up. I can safely say I am madly in love with it. It is so flattering and light I have even considered buying a black version of this. I am 100% certain  you will see it on the blog styled in a different way but I wanted to post this look first. Whilst the boyfriend (who by the way is proving to get better at the whole blog photographer job aka putting up with me) was working at the British Council, we decided to spend one of the last days working close to one other at Somerset House post lunch at Kimchee (seriously one of the best places for great Korean food and not expensive at all). Somerset House is truly one of my favourite places in London, not only for fashion week/ creative exhibitions but because on a summers day it truly is beautiful.

The pearl necklace is a little beauty I picked up from H&M for a fancy dress party. It has now become one of my favourite jewelry pieces. It resembles a piece Chanel created in previous collections. A lot of friends, colleagues and sales assistants have even asked me if it is Chanel. Of course I am a woman full of honour and steered everyone to H&M. The Chanel heart pendant is a limited edition piece, I have always had an impeccable eye for pieces I know what will sell quick and what will catch peoples eyes quicker. This was love at first sight when I went to Paris with my boyfriend in 2011 so it is one of my most cherished pieces.

My new favourite lipstick at the moment is the new Dior Addict Fluid Stick. I am not one for lip glosses as the texture kinda makes my skin crawl, this however isn't your average lip gloss slapped with a new sticker. No, it has more thickness, deeper and more varied in colours and stains beautifully without being sticky. I massively recommend it to the readers who love to try new lippies and glosses.

The thing I would do for the other 2 colours in these ankle boots. I have these Chanel boots in this bright burgundy and a beautiful grey with lavender undertones. I bought both pairs within a week of one another last year. The pair I regret not buying was an amazing bright green. The reason for my regret? These are the best boots I own, along with the Chloe Susanna boots that I have worn so much they are taking a well earned rest, durable and comfy with a splash of fun. Parfait. Then again my shoe collection really doesn't need an additional member at the moment. That could currently stand for my handbag collection but my Boy Bag is loyal and gets the best use out of my Chanel collection. I wouldn't mind adding another to my collection, but one bag at a time…my list never stops growing, but with a growing list comes a hard working mentality.
