Jardin Du Luxembourg

This was technically day 1 of Rock En Seine (Friday, headline act Arctic Monkeys). What I love about this festival is the ability to have the morning free in Paris and then jump on a metro 30 minutes out to Parc Saint Cloud to enjoy great surroundings and music. We spent our morning walking to Jardin du Luxembourg, then through the Latin Quarter, to my favourite book shop in the world (Shakespeare and Co), around Notre Dame and across to Hotel de Ville! No wonder my feet were pounding at 2am in the morning! But this is the best thing about Paris, it is so easy to stroll around and find yourself and the cutest rue or by a historical monument you didn't realise you have ever seen.

Shakespeare and Company will always hold a special place in my heart. It is just perfect and laced with so much history, to know you're sitting in a room where all the greats came to read and recite their works is such a huge thrill especially as I am an English literature graduate.

I absolutely love this ASOS dress. Initially I picked this dress for my friend Lucy for our friend Tara's wedding but she ended up going with an equally lovely dress for the day (despite me constantly asking her about this one). So when I saw this on sale in June I knew it was meant to be.

Equally I knew the dress would go perfectly with my Chloe boots! God I cannot believe I have had these for 4 years now! They still look like new! I just love them and obsessed with how comfortable they are. My key advice for a festival is always wear comfortable shoes, don't go with what goes with your outfit, festivals are mucky whether it's muddy or not! Ditch the wedges and open toe sandals!

I also have to say my Vintage Louis Vuitton Noe was an absolute life saver! It's one of the bags you really do not have to baby because it's there to be loved and it grows more prettier with every wear. Not only that it holds so much without it being a heavy bag to carry around all day. I am keen to add a Epi Noe (in a petite) to my bag collection. I love the rebirth of the Noe, did you know the Noe was made with the intentions of holding 5 champagne bottles, 4 upright and 1 upside down in the middle. No wonder me and this bag get a long so well.

The Denim Edition

 Evening all,

I hope everyone has enjoyed their sunny week. Gosh its been so warm in London, add tube weather and  well it's like living on the sun! Over the top I know but come on TFL surely we should progress with some air con on the central line! The start of my week was spent at home celebrating Eid and besides the fact my little nephews are away in Florida it was a lovely day spent with the family. I also had the best present from my parents. If you haven't seen my little baby on my Twitter/ Instagram here you go!

Hello my beautiful Fendi By The Way. I've had my eye on this little beauty since it went down the catwalk in February. I had the fob monogrammed with my initials which gives this 3 tone (limited edition colour) grey an extra special touch.

Now I've shared my lovely little present I wanted to share my love of DENIM. If you follow me on Instagram you will know by now I live in denim shorts, jeans and more importantly denim dresses.

As you can see these are my 3 favourite denim dresses in my wardrobe at the moment. I am always on the prowl for new denim dress. Even when I've bought a new one I am still ready for another. Not that I am greedy or anything, it just comes down to not being able to find the perfect denim dress so why not make the most of the high street at the moment. Quality of fit and denim type is key for a lasting piece in your wardrobe because remember denim is no longer a seasonal wear now, it has become a key classic piece for women.

Here are my must buy denim dresses (Hover on the description for links):

Shut Up And Kiss Me

Morning all,

I hope everyone is having a good week so far, sadly the weather in London is awful. Thank god I am working from home today and waiting for some furniture to be delivered. I must say my week has been a busy thanks to Couture week in Paris but I absolutely love working Couture shows. They are so much more special than the normal seasonal shows as the art and craft that goes into the clothing is just pure perfection. Plus watching the girls put the clothing together is such a magical process. I know the vision is Karl but the seamstresses are the true talent. I cannot wait to show you my photos from the show in a future blog post.

I love this look, the t-shirt is quite a questionable one to wear around London. The amount of men who approached me was astonishing…seriously it's a t-shirt men…you know sarcasm. But hey I was walking around Soho. I will never stop loving crazy t-shirts. I definitely recommend looking at ASOS for similar t-shirts. The blazer is one of my favourite buys from Topshop this season. I have a real soft spot for grey tones and immediately fell in love with the blazer. Cute for casual and work looks.

I've started using this Christopher Kane clutch so much more lately. I bought it last year during the sample sale. It's the perfect day to night size and I can get the essentials in. Plus its navy leopard! I love it! I also got this cute little pom from Poppy London. It is cute and nice alternative to using my Fendi fur monster. My only quip with the store is the poor delivery service. But hey I have it now so lets just roll with that.

Everyone knows I am a Chanel shoe fanatic. I am proud of my lusty love of expensive shoes, especially Chanel ones. These silver brogues are from the Cruise collection and were made in limited quantity. Hardly nobody had these in stock so I was shocked when I found out my gorgeous best friend Gaspard bought these in Paris for me. I feel so blessed to have such a thoughtful friend. These are so  comfortable but then again I find all Chanel shoes comfortable. I know that these will be perfect for next season metallic and winter whites trends.

Since buying this Zara pearl bracelet I have worn it practically everyday. So much so I really wish I bought a second one. I constantly get asked at work if it is the Chanel one. Score. For readers asking about the Cartier Love Bracelet- I cannot fault them. I love both of mine as they are so precious to me. Both of my bracelets are special and have a meaning behind both. I also have matching rings from 3 of my closest friends. I am really into simple jewellery at the moment as a look like this shouldn't be over shadowed by busy pieces.

Dusters In the Summer

When I first saw this duster jacket in Monki, my mind thought "could I really carry it off? It's a maxi blazer in London, won't some random idiot pull on it?' Well sod all those thoughts, I went in on one of their discount days and picked this little beauties up. I can safely say I am madly in love with it. It is so flattering and light I have even considered buying a black version of this. I am 100% certain  you will see it on the blog styled in a different way but I wanted to post this look first. Whilst the boyfriend (who by the way is proving to get better at the whole blog photographer job aka putting up with me) was working at the British Council, we decided to spend one of the last days working close to one other at Somerset House post lunch at Kimchee (seriously one of the best places for great Korean food and not expensive at all). Somerset House is truly one of my favourite places in London, not only for fashion week/ creative exhibitions but because on a summers day it truly is beautiful.

The pearl necklace is a little beauty I picked up from H&M for a fancy dress party. It has now become one of my favourite jewelry pieces. It resembles a piece Chanel created in previous collections. A lot of friends, colleagues and sales assistants have even asked me if it is Chanel. Of course I am a woman full of honour and steered everyone to H&M. The Chanel heart pendant is a limited edition piece, I have always had an impeccable eye for pieces I know what will sell quick and what will catch peoples eyes quicker. This was love at first sight when I went to Paris with my boyfriend in 2011 so it is one of my most cherished pieces.

My new favourite lipstick at the moment is the new Dior Addict Fluid Stick. I am not one for lip glosses as the texture kinda makes my skin crawl, this however isn't your average lip gloss slapped with a new sticker. No, it has more thickness, deeper and more varied in colours and stains beautifully without being sticky. I massively recommend it to the readers who love to try new lippies and glosses.

The thing I would do for the other 2 colours in these ankle boots. I have these Chanel boots in this bright burgundy and a beautiful grey with lavender undertones. I bought both pairs within a week of one another last year. The pair I regret not buying was an amazing bright green. The reason for my regret? These are the best boots I own, along with the Chloe Susanna boots that I have worn so much they are taking a well earned rest, durable and comfy with a splash of fun. Parfait. Then again my shoe collection really doesn't need an additional member at the moment. That could currently stand for my handbag collection but my Boy Bag is loyal and gets the best use out of my Chanel collection. I wouldn't mind adding another to my collection, but one bag at a time…my list never stops growing, but with a growing list comes a hard working mentality.
