Under The Bridge

This outfit post was a total impromptu shoot after an evening at the theatre. We had plans to shoot on the Southbank but sadly had a short period between the show starting (Arthur Millers "A View From The Bridge" performed at the Young Vic with Mark Strong. Amazing.) and having a Byron burger or shooting…I love my blog and sharing my outfits but come on always the BURGER! A bit disappointed with the short amount of time, the boyfriend demanded I start posing under Waterloo bridge…Not streetwalkerish at all. But hey, if the photographer is feeling it who am i to argue ;) Plus i cannot express how much I LOVE this Topshop striped tunic.

This is one of my many Chanel necklaces. This was one is special as it celebrates the 100 year anniversary of the first Chanel store opening. I had this gorgeous piece as a Christmas present from work. I love how combination of burgundy and the pearly white. This colour combo really reminds me of the Tudor era.

My Zara leather jacket…where do I start with this bad boy. God I love this. I have 3 leather jackets in my wardrobe (I am super fussy) my vintage Topshop which has perforated leather sleeves and suede inserts, this one, and my beyond perfect Sandro distressed cracked leather jacket. I bought this because it was my perfect longline leather jacket. The leather is ageing beautifully and instead of buying this full price (£180) I bought it for a wonderful £60. A bargain and a wardrobe staple. What more can a woman ask for? I know that next on my leather jacket list is a bright Acne and a leather bomber jacket from  Isabel Marant Etoile. Obviously I love non branded too, my leather jacket mantra is  As long as it's leather with a phenomenal fit it's the jacket for you. Obviously PU jackets are never the answer especially as the fit is never the same.

I originally wanted this tunic in the red stripes, but as it always goes when shopping, you try it on, you tell yourself you'll come back for it and then you never see it again and see EVERYONE in London (replace London with your local town!!!) wearing it. Enter my wonderful sister who shouted in cap locks on whatsapp "THE NAVY STRIPED TUNIC IS IN THE TALL SECTION" That's right we can't go a day without showing one another what we wear or buy. This was one of her best announcements on whatsapp. I quickly ordered mine and felt this was the perfect length…take that red striped tunic. The length is perfect for autumn to summer. I can wear with tight or without. I just wish Topshop would play around with colours because I'd have them all!

I remember when I bought these Louboutin Freds, 2012 Fashions Night Out at the loub party where me and the sister ended the night. It was a fab night full of good cocktails and making new fashionable friends. I am so excited that it is heading back to London this year. It's about time! This time I won't wait 2 years to wear a pair of shoes! That's right! I waited 2 years to wear these sparkly beauties. Do not ask me why, I thought I was being wise due to the nature of the material but it was more i didn't want to tarnish the soles. So fuck it I wore them and now I love them more than ever. They had the best compliments and more so they aren't available any more so SCORE!

This was the first Chanel bag I ever had as my own and i really think I earned this one. I was lucky in my childhood, I constantly use to steal my mums Chanel bags and was never allowed to touch my grandmothers vintage collection until I "grew up". Of course that meant graduating…I think. This red 2.55 was given to me when I graduated with a 2:1 in English Literature. When I got it I screamed. I was expecting a bag but my usual choice of Miu Miu or Gucci at that time. I have never felt so appreciative in my life. Silly I know but I was in a stage where my life became more about appreciating fashion. My god if I knew this Red Chanel was my downwards spiral into a world of double C's I would of saved my student loans! Within months of getting my first job with French Connection I dove straight into growing my own Chanel collection… It's still growing guys!

Shut Up And Kiss Me

Morning all,

I hope everyone is having a good week so far, sadly the weather in London is awful. Thank god I am working from home today and waiting for some furniture to be delivered. I must say my week has been a busy thanks to Couture week in Paris but I absolutely love working Couture shows. They are so much more special than the normal seasonal shows as the art and craft that goes into the clothing is just pure perfection. Plus watching the girls put the clothing together is such a magical process. I know the vision is Karl but the seamstresses are the true talent. I cannot wait to show you my photos from the show in a future blog post.

I love this look, the t-shirt is quite a questionable one to wear around London. The amount of men who approached me was astonishing…seriously it's a t-shirt men…you know sarcasm. But hey I was walking around Soho. I will never stop loving crazy t-shirts. I definitely recommend looking at ASOS for similar t-shirts. The blazer is one of my favourite buys from Topshop this season. I have a real soft spot for grey tones and immediately fell in love with the blazer. Cute for casual and work looks.

I've started using this Christopher Kane clutch so much more lately. I bought it last year during the sample sale. It's the perfect day to night size and I can get the essentials in. Plus its navy leopard! I love it! I also got this cute little pom from Poppy London. It is cute and nice alternative to using my Fendi fur monster. My only quip with the store is the poor delivery service. But hey I have it now so lets just roll with that.

Everyone knows I am a Chanel shoe fanatic. I am proud of my lusty love of expensive shoes, especially Chanel ones. These silver brogues are from the Cruise collection and were made in limited quantity. Hardly nobody had these in stock so I was shocked when I found out my gorgeous best friend Gaspard bought these in Paris for me. I feel so blessed to have such a thoughtful friend. These are so  comfortable but then again I find all Chanel shoes comfortable. I know that these will be perfect for next season metallic and winter whites trends.

Since buying this Zara pearl bracelet I have worn it practically everyday. So much so I really wish I bought a second one. I constantly get asked at work if it is the Chanel one. Score. For readers asking about the Cartier Love Bracelet- I cannot fault them. I love both of mine as they are so precious to me. Both of my bracelets are special and have a meaning behind both. I also have matching rings from 3 of my closest friends. I am really into simple jewellery at the moment as a look like this shouldn't be over shadowed by busy pieces.

Double Denim Days

 Happy Friday!!!!

The sun is out today and I am sitting at my desk excited for the working week to end. I am extra excited to leave work today because tonight me and the boyfriend are off to see The Arcade Fire at Earls Court. A much needed relief from a hard week. The Arcade Fire are one of my favourite bands. This will be my 4th time seeing them and I know they won't disappoint (Kinda hoping they will get David Bowie out!) especially as my Parisian friends saw them at Le Zenith in Paris and haven't stopped talking about the show.

I absolutely love this outfit post. We did this shoot the weekend of my best friends wedding. You wouldn't think I had a hangover right?

I cannot get enough of the Dior SoReal sunglasses. Honestly. Favourite pair in my collection

I absolutely love this shirt from Monki. I bought it in the grey denim (wearing) and a dark blue denim also. It has to be two of my most worn shirts in my wardrobe at the moment. I love the simplicity that comes with throwing on an oversized denim shirt. Double denim is always tricky yet seriously chic. Simple is perfection and definitely shows you can make a great outfit with essentials.

My beloved Chanel Espadrilles how I've worn you to death, weather can never stand in our way. 1 of 10 currently in my possession, these were the pair my boyfriend Alan bought me for Xmas last year. I love how easy espadrilles are to wear and the comfort factor is a plus. These pair have travelled a fair bit, these came to Kuala Lumpur with me this year which can only mean they are top of my favourite list for versatility.

The best thing about living in East London is we are surrounded by some beautiful places. We live a 10 minute walk from The Olympic Park. Perfect for walks, runs and photo shoots. Of course this was just one of the areas surrounding the park. I highly recommend visiting the grounds. It is a nice break from a busy busy London yet still only in Zone 3.

If you follow my Instagram Feed you'll know that I bought my Mansur Gavriel bucket bag (in butter) from Net-A-Porter at the end of March. I have to thank the NAP team for being amazing and putting me on the top of the list. The time it took for me to make an enquiry and the bag being available was 3 days. I am so in love with this bag i genuinely didn't think I would love it this hard. The colour is perfect for summer tones and is definitely wearable in the winter too for a pop of fresh attitude. It is light and tres durable. I got you right? The only problem is, it is prone to scratches a quality that is factored into the making of the bag and the general aesthetic of the nature of the leather and look. There are ways to avoid the bag from getting scratches through protecting it with wax and nano spray. Over all I cannot wait to hunt down the tote version, hopefully in the oxblood or the black.

I also present my new baby Fur Monster Alfonso. Thanks to Fendi, I was given a choice of some beautiful little Fur Monsters from the new flagship store on Bond Street. We bonded immediately, his hair is wild and out of control like mine, his eyebrows are supper bushy…mine are getting there. I didn't think I needed one of these lil babies in my life but I'm glad I was given one because now it's hard not to put on my bag!

I bought this hair braid from Hershesons a week before the wedding as it was perfect for my wedding outfit to make my look extra girly, cute and romantic. I have now taken to wearing it a lot more, especially as it makes my hair look thicker…tricks of the trade ;p

Pagoda Vs Metallica

Hey guys,

A few weeks ago me and the boyfriend took advantage of the good weather and took ourselves to Victoria Park which is only 15 minutes away from us. Since moving to East London (I'm a North London girl at heart) we haven't really explored east besides Shoreditch and Brick Lane. So it was quite nice to take the camera and my little outfit out to the park.

Victoria Park is really beautiful, being a welshie and living in London I do often miss the green, the peace and quiet (thank god I get to go home) so it felt very tranquil for the middle of London.

I love a pagoda and what they represent, it's rare to find such a new build in London. I didn't even know there was a pagoda in the park so you can imagine my excitement, it's the same excitement I get when I'm abroad.

This is a typical laid back outfit for me on the weekend, I am very much a t-shirt and jeans kinda girl. My t-shirt is stolen from one of my best friend Gaspard who told me I looked better in it than him. Thanks Gaspi. The skaters are the oh so awesome Celine tartan, well worn since buying them. They are the most comfortable shoes I own and I'm so glad my wonderful friend Doreen convinced me to buy them over Chanel sneakers. I think i definitely pass as a 70's rocker!

I love these Ray Bans. I bought these at Duty Free in Heathrow for my trip to Seoul and Kuala Lumpur. These were limited edition from last years collection and I couldn't get my hands on them so they have been sitting at the airport waiting for me! I love a rose tinted lens, especially with gold.

Oh my baby! I don't often bring my Electric Blue Celine out to play purely because I treasure it so much. I love the Nano, it's an excellent size, perfect for everyday use and taking out. I'm also very fond of the colour. Not a lot people would think electric blue is easy to match but it is. It goes with everything. I would love to get another bag in this colour soon and also a new Nano.

These were the first pair of jeans I bought with the intention of customising myself. For my first go I did myself really proud. So proud that a few people have asked me where they are from! Credit where credit is due, these pair come from Dorothy Perkins. These are the Eden Jeggings. I advise any woman whose looking for a pair of comfortable jeans to come here! They do not look like jeggings at all and actually do sizing in leg lengths. Score.
